Métronome DSAS
The Métronome DSAS is a music server designed and manufactured in France, Métronome's first music server, developed with Audirvāna. It combines file management and streaming services in one compact unit, and it connects to an external DAC such as the DSC Mini.
Storage
The DSAS has a 2 TB SSD and one SSD extension slot, and it can be expanded to 4 TB. USB 3.0 ports (one USB-A and one USB-C) accept a removable disk or flash drive.
Audirvāna Integration
The server runs Audirvāna's software and audio engine and is controlled from the Audirvāna app on a smartphone or tablet. It manages local and online libraries, including playlists, favorites and radio stations, and works with Qobuz, TIDAL, HRA and Presto Music as well as internet radio and podcasts. Upsampling with SoX or R8brain reaches DSD256.
Outputs
The USB output feeds a DAC with PCM up to 384 kHz and native DSD up to DSD512. The DSAS can also stream over the network by UPnP, with the same formats, over Ethernet or dual-band Wi-Fi.
Place in the Digital Sharing Range
The DSAS is the range's server. The DSC Mini is the converter it connects to, the DSS 2 is the network player and the DST is the CD transport.
