Handcrafted in Germany
ViaBlue cables are designed and assembled entirely at their facility in Germany. Conductors, shielding, terminations, and outer sleeving are all handled in-house, ensuring consistency across every cable that leaves the factory. Every finished cable is individually inspected before it ships.
The Air Pipe System
The SC-6 speaker cables and NF-S6 interconnects are built around ViaBlue's proprietary Air Pipe architecture. Six individual conductors are arranged in a circular array around a hollow air-filled silicone tube at the center of the cable. Each of those conductors is itself built the same way, with smaller conductors arranged around additional isolating air pipes.
The effect is physical separation between each conductor and each frequency range. By keeping high, mid, and low frequency transmission paths isolated from one another, the Air Pipe system eliminates capacitance buildup and suppresses unwanted inductance and magnetic interference. The result is low energy storage, fast transient response, and a wide, stable soundstage.
Conductors and Shielding
SC-6 speaker cables use oxygen-free copper conductors with silver-plated OFC strands for high frequency clarity. NF-S6 interconnects add six layers of shielding around the Air Pipe conductor array, providing exceptional external noise rejection without adding mechanical rigidity.
X-60 power cables take a different approach suited to their purpose. The entire cable is fully shielded with a dual-layer aluminum and PET foil shield combined with a tinned braided OFC screen, blocking electromagnetic interference across the full audio spectrum. Silver-plated OFC wire carries the signal, and a ferrite filter at the connector suppresses high-frequency EMI at the point of entry.
Connectors and Build
ViaBlue uses their own T8 connectors throughout the signal cable lineup, gold-plated for long-term contact integrity. Power cables are terminated with ViaBlue's T6s AC connectors, featuring scratch-resistant Ultragrip housings machined to last. The outer jacket across all cable types uses ViaBlue's Big Cobra braided sleeve, chosen for its resistance to wear, kinking, and light degradation.
